  • Generally speaking I try not to judge Vegas hotels too harshly, because I don't expect a whole lot when visiting + I'm not in the hotel all that much, but I have to say my most recent experience at Harrah's was definitely the worst I've had. The casino itself is definitely on the older side and could use some renovation, but it's not the only one in the city in need of that. There's a distinct lack of good food in the hotel (unless you're a really REALLY big Toby Keith fan, then maybe his namesake bar and grill are worth a trip) which is hard on a foodie. As far as the rooms go, the space is ok, but they are definitely older. The shower just kinda spits at you and there's definitely not enough light anywhere. Perhaps the icing on top of this terrible cake was that on our second night here, someone broke into my brother's room and stole his wallet. Security didn't seem to care and it really just ruined our trip. Of course they have approximately 2.5 million cameras in the casinos, but none on the floors ..... because it's "too expensive" to ensure people's rooms aren't broken into. Anyway, needless to say I will not be coming back to Harrah's .... ever again. Best of luck to you if you choose this hotel ... you'll need it! Stay Cheerful ;)
