| - Update: I've just decided to move up into a bigger apartment within the complex, and Jordan Bigler couldn't have been more helpful in making sure the process has been smooth and easy. The team in the office, and the complex remains a class act.
So, I don't usually do this because I never find places I feel are worthy of commenting on but in this case I know how fraught finding a place to live in this city can be.
So background, so you can judge how similar my conditions are: I'm 30, single, live alone, I work nights, and I am British. I moved into the city with work and did so 'blind' having only reviews to go on, with 3 places chosen before arrival and looked at all in one day.
I'm very glad I moved to this complex. This is for three reasons - one is the staff, one is the facilities, and finally it's the atmosphere.
The atmosphere seems to have gotten a bad rep but the complex is generally quiet, with SOME road noise from the 215 (I accept this as a trade off since it means access to East Vegas or North is so damn easy). The people seem to be young professionals mainly and everyone bar none has been civil, and in most cases are friendly.
The facilities and apartment are easily the best of the ones I looked at. Although expensive compared to others, the quality and decor of the rooms is good, and the gym and pool area is better than literally anywhere else, they're huge and very well maintained.
Finally the staff - it must be said, I'm not an easy customer because of the fact I'm British and upon arrival didn't have any of the usual US Social / credit score parts that they would expect. Furthermore I also had certain restrictions from being military. Jordan and Sairy especially were wonderful and handled my difficulties without issue and since then have remained helpful, friendly, and engaging up to and including helping me with other non-apartment things such as advice on the DMV or similar! A* to them.
Moving to a new place is daunting. I think the best thing I can say is, due to the staff and the build, I don't regret any part of living here.
