| - Came here for the Farmer's Market and Blueberry Festival.
The parking situation is atrocious, stressed caused by people with big cars that don't know how to drive them, people parking in unmarked spaces (for a reason they are unmarked!) leaving them very vulnerable for an accident. The plus side is that people do not come in waves, so there is always someone leaving, just need to be patient. The lot comes at $1.50 for every half hour - if you want you could take the shuttle bus from Broadview or bike.
It's busy in here with vendors galore - produce (meat and veggies), honey, natural soaps, cookies, baked goods. Also near the back some cooked food you can snack on for lunch.
Bought peaches for $5 a basket from the vendor in the front. One of the folks working there had a nasty (annoyed) attitude, others were okay.
My friend loved the Lavender crisps ($7) and we also found them in the store for $9.95 - just saying.
There was also a few vegan and gluten free products on sale. However, I would have liked to see more.
Outside the barn, there were vendors with wooden craft type gifts.
All around there's childrens activities for them to join in, plant things and learn things.
We were here for the blueberry festival advertised until 4pm. but at 1pm (when the market usually is finished) everyone started to pack up. A little disappointing.
I would come here once, but I wouldn't make this my regular farmer's market outing.
