Stopped in Tempe Town Lake store to see if they could transfer service to Verizon on my Galaxy S3. Store claimed I needed a new phone. I agreed if they could port my old number. Was told number would port by 5pm. The next evening, they were still unable to port my old number so I returned the phone and was told there wouldn't be $35 restocking fee since the phone was never activated. Days later, I received my credit card statement which shows only $162 credited back from the $227 I was charged. Customer service has yet to explain the $65 difference.
I was wondering why I felt I needed a shower after talking to their sales people. I can't think of a single statement they made which ended up being true. I'm just glad I caught a peek of the complete lack of integrity that represents the Verizon brand before I got locked into a contract.
