Ciao Grazie turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. We've driven by this restaurant any number of times to/from one of our favorite Phoenix-area hikes. Most recently, we dropped in when our typical Italian/Pizza joint was packed as usual on a recent Saturday evening.
Our first impression was not good considering it wasn't at all busy. Which in Scottsdale is very rare on a Saturday evening. However, we found the food really well prepared and the bartender (Heidi) particularly attentive and helpful. Its was also tastefully/colorfully decorated. And I think fair to say they really appreciated our visit.
Our only complaint was that the prices were, in our opinion, a little high. But feel this was a small price to pay (no pun intended) for the food, service and atmosphere. We'll be back in the next few weeks..
