  • First visit to Pomelo after hearing for months that it's great. Food was very good, but the overall experience was disappointing. It wasn't crowded - we arrived around 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon - but the food took forever to arrive. There are two chicken sandwiches on the menu - I ordered the grilled one, my companion ordered crispy. The chef switched the chickens - mine was crispy, with the toppings of the grilled chicken I ordered - his was grilled with the toppings he ordered. Our waitress took them away with apologies and said her manager would bring the correct dishes. Another waitress brought the new, correct orders. The manager eventually stopped by the table and said "sorry." No offer to comp or discount. We waited almost an hour for our food. Not sure we'll return.
