  • At our taxi driver's suggestion, we gave Hugo's a try. This was a fabulous place to experience an old school Vegas meal. We got lucky and got in since another reservation no showed. I was given a long stem rose and we were led to our table. Our team of waiters (Rashad and Victor) we're friendly and professional. We started with a half bottle of wine delivered by the sommelier. Very classy! Then after ordering the show began, Victor brought the salad cart and expertly made our salads to order with some laughs and stories. He is a riot and makes damn fine salads. Next Rashad delivered raspberry sorbet to cleanse the palette before our dinner arrived. I had the Hugo's Chicken and he had the Beef Wellington. Both were perfectly executed. We couldn't have been more pleased. I got a pic of every course except the complimentary dessert tray. It was exquisite with chocolate covered apricots, strawberries and figs with whipped cream. We had a wonderful dining experience and were so glad for our taxi driver's recommendation.
