| - Went from super long to super short, Ruby Rose-esque hair with Melissa. Discussed all the pros/cons, maintenance, styling, etc. questions with her in pretty good detail before she actually started cutting. She was a little hesitant at first to try with the picture I brought in initially, as my hair texture is a lot thicker/heavier/Asian than the actress' hair I was going for. After a lot of discussion, we decided to just go for it. BEST haircut decision of my life. I get compliments from strangers literally ALL the time on my hair. 4 weeks later and it's still growing in beautifully (which is usually my measure for a solid hairstylist that knows what they're doing). She's very talented and willing to work with you to make sure you get the hairstyle you really want.
Also, free (delicious) coffee while you wait. Fun, casual salon environment. Still getting used to the $$$ of having a short haircut (every 4-6 weeks women's cut, around $50), at least compared to long hair that gets cut twice a year, but so far, it's worth it!
