This was my first visit to Benjamins, and it will not be my last. The menu had a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and mouth-watering starters. Our table kicked things off with an order of the pretzels and dipping sauces. The pretzels themselves were nothing out of the ordinary; however, the candied jalapeƱo cream cheese was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The Fancy Pants was my burger of choice for the night, and it did not disappoint. The red wine braised onions were a welcomed change from the typical caramelized onions you find elsewhere. Regrettably, I opted for the pasta salad, which left me immediately wishing I had gone for the home fries. Oh well, there's always next time.
One unfortunate aspect of the dining experience was the flies traveling through the front doors and violating my personal space. Though it's nice to have outdoor seating available to customers, please try to keep the insects from bugging the indoor patrons.
