Dr. Kyra Norris' staff was extremely rude to me when I went to pick up a refill on my pain meds. The receptionist tried to refuse my legal drivers license because it was punched by the DMV when I renewed a couple days prior but there was a printout to go along with it and the DMV told me it was a legal document. She said she had to get it ok'd but decided to randomly drug test me (out of spite I believe because I was upset with her). That test was NOT random. I was vocally upset at this. The security guard was right behind me the whole time. I complied with the request, complaining loudly as I had every right to because there was no reason for this. I know Dr. Norris would NOT have ordered this test. They never gave me my prescription and now it's a the long holiday weekend and I won't get my meds until next week sometime unless they decide I don't deserve them.. Was told I'd have to PAY for that test out of pocket since my ins changed. I am changing drs because SMA is not on my new plan but that is NO reason I cannot have the prescriptions already given to me. and btw, I was going to try to change ins to go back to SMA but now I never will. I will NEVER go back and will tell every single senior citizen I know how I was treated there.
