  • I received two tickets from Lindsey at a recent Yelp event and my vegetarian fiancĂ©e and I decided to go since it was free. The festival was over a grassy area with a stage and very loud music, there were stands lined around the boundaries of the venue. There were a few vendors that had samples such as chips. At one stand I paid $5 for a pulled pork sample, however it was enough for two sandwiches and tasted fresh. Their BBQ sauce was just ok. At another stand, AZ Barbecue, I ordered a rib sample for $5, they were out, but they gave me rib tips instead. Wow, these were the best ribs I have ever had. Meaty, a great rub and smoky taste. I added some spicy sauce and it was even better. I received 5 huge rib tips, it seemed like I didn't pay enough. The rest of the festival was very busy, lines of 3 - 60 at stands, and smoky. Unless you want to sit right down on the grass, there was no where to sit. The food was great however and the selection is huge. The prices were also reasonable, but they do require tickets to get in.
