  • Not sure how we have just made it out to Kaya.. was never on my radar. We are always in the Strip District but always on Penn Ave and not Smallman. My co-worker and I ordered the Roasted Brussels sprouts and cauliflower tropas (appertizer?), the Conch and corn chowder, strip steak tacos and the Pumpkin Creme Brulee. Everything was really good except for the Pumpkin Creme Brulee. The Pumpkin Creme Brulee made me think of baby food with a sugar hard top. I love creme brulee and this was a no bueno for me. Server was very polite and had a spunk to him. We ordered, drinks came out, food came out and dessert came out very quickly. We would love to come back to try some of the other items on the menu like the paella.
