  • This is the bakery that made the wedding cake for my best friend's daughter's wedding. The cake was absolutely divine!! Light and creamy and a little fruity. There were individually wrapped cupcakes for wedding guests to take home. My husband and I each grabbed a chocolate with chocolate icing. I am not a big fan of cupcakes - they always taste like stale cake to me (I generally only eat cake on the day it's baked!), so I figured I would taste one of the cupcakes and pass it off to the hubs to finish. WRONG!!! We are 7 hours into our 9-hour drive home, and I opened one of the cupcakes, scarfed it down, and reluctantly gave him the other one to eat. I am not completely opposed to heading back to Charlotte now so we can visit the bakery tomorrow and see what else they have!! Yum!!!
