| - I love consignment shopping. It's fun, and always a great way to find second hand stuff at reasonable prices.
As for Plato's closet, I can't say I liked it all that much. They have nice stuff, don't get me wrong. Name brand clothing in good shape at reasonable prices. BUT, I have several complaints about this place.
For starters, I felt like a lot of the fashion in there was geared towards a younger, early 20 something crowd. Tops that maybe I wouldn't neccesarily wear to work, but maybe out to the bar or on a date. Pants were fine, but seemed like mostly more brand name blue jeans and black slacks. Not much in between.
Secondly, I felt like the selection was small and limited. The size chart was geared towards girls who were skinny. Not a huge selection or range in sizes, to be honest. When I was there, they had a few items for me to choose from, and I consider myself to be of normal size. Wasn't all that impressed, and quite unhappy that they didn't have ANYthing that didn't fit, period.
They do have a small selection of purses, belts and shoes, though, which is a bonus for them.
I personally do not plan on going back. Plus, the service I got was so so. Nothing to warrent me to want to return.
