  • I can't speak for every building, but if you're looking at this complex, avoid Phase 2 like you would avoid someone with ebola. That is, of course unless you enjoy having ants come crawling out of the walls into your food and your dog's food. You'll be able to take a hot shower at either 5am or 1pm when people in other areas of the building aren't showering. Did I mention the building is only about a year old and has already had TWO burst pipes? They blamed it on the "cold weather" but a 15 degrees night shouldn't burst a pipe in a relatively new building. And as of writing this review we won't be able to live in our apartment for the next 3 days because they didn't properly seal off the balcony doors on our floor so several of the apartments have had extensive water leakage for months now. (Our particular apartment never had any leaks, but they still want to take off our balcony doors "just to be safe" because there could potentially be leak damage underneath the trim of the doors.) My car was also towed from our assigned parking spot while we were out of town because it didn't have a sticker on it (mind you, we were parking it there without a sticker for months, and their driver passed up several cars illegally parked in no parking & handicapped parking zones, and when we went to get the car back he demanded cash only, which is illegal, and won't settle for a card unless you threaten to call the police) and when we asked the office for another sticker, they wanted to charge us $60....for a sticker. Found out about the train & heavy traffic noise the hard way. The view of uptown from their roof deck is great, just don't sit on any of the furniture if it's rained within the past 6 days. Some of the residents treat the building as if it were their college dorm...I know that isn't on the office, but if you're paying more than $1,000 a month to live in a place, you'd expect everyone would treat the place a bit nicer. I know of several people who have had more problems with them than I have, and they've all moved out already. Some of them even got out without paying the penalty, but the office will never admit that, because then everyone would do it.
