| - I have been a loyal visitor for roughly 17 years now. The staff, let me say, they treat me as a member of their family. The crew has seen me while I was pregnant with my son, since he was new born, and everyone greets him and will go out of their way to talk to him. They know our order and our drinks are right there prior to us sitting completely down (at the counter, stop and say hello to us.). That's the atmosphere and feel of Alexi's.
The food, depends on what you're there for ie breakfast, lunch or dinner and who's in the kitchen. The day kitchen is okay as long as it's not meat. The evening, I prefer, because things that are to be crispy are crispy. It's comfort food, that will satisfy your belly and priced reasonably.
The dessert. My son likes the cheese cake, I bake cheese cake, so I tend not to eat it. I had the rice pudding or was it bread pudding, doesn't really matter, I wasn't a fan of it. It's not how grandma made it, if you know what I'm saying.
