I would not go to this doctors office if you would like some who is efficient and even caring.
To begin, I had numerous issues with my prolactin level that was correlating with the birth control I was on. They had me try the shot, the pill, and the patch. My levels were still so high! So instead of taking me off the BC they thought it would be better if I see a specialist which to be fair is understandable. However, I went through numerous tests and spent tons of money for this other doctor to just tell me to go off of birth control and poof! My levels are normal again. Why couldn't they have me try this at Gynemedic? It didn't seem like an issue at the time but now that I have had several other issues with the office I find this crazy.
I went into the office next because I wanted an IUD. It was at this point when I was finally on my last straw and was going to just get the dang thing and not worry about anything for 10 years. I was almost excited even to finally have the courage to get it. The doctors called me the next day about some other test results and while on the phone I had asked if the insurance was going to cover the IUD for me. I was told it would take a few days to hear back but they would give me a ring when they did. Two business weeks go by and I still here NOTHING. I call the front desk staff and they said that there has been NO progress and no one had even reached out to my insurance. Mind you that you're supposed to get an IUD when you're on your period so I already missed that opportunity and now had to wait for it to ship. I was upset and the office was able to find an extra IUD that they had in storage and schedule me an appointment. I had to get prescribed medication for my cervix to expand and went through the painful process and guess what!!!!! I learned that it was not inserted correctly I now have to have it removed and reinserted. AND GO THROUGH THE PAIN AND PROCESS AGAIN.
The cherry on top is that a pharmacy that they had called for the IUD for originally gave me a call and said my insurance did not cover the IUD and it would be 750 dollars. I called the doctors office fuming and no one could help me or have any answers. I asked for a call back after two in the day so they could research but needed to know at this time. Of course they didn't call that day. I called at four and the office was closed even though the website says 4:30 so that's frustrating to. The next day I called the staff and got my answers and learned that they had "forgot" to call back.
So let me get this straight they 1. Forgot to get my IUD. 2. Forgot to call me back about billing issues. 3. Sent me to another doctors office instead of working with me for a solution. I would seriously go somewhere else if you want to feel efficiently cared for.
