| - I was in a bit of a situation because my medication was going through a facility upgrade and it was way behind in filling pharmacy orders. So I had to transfer my medication from my regular pharmacy as they had been trying for 5 days to get it. Needless to say I was in a panic. I called Walgreens a couple hours before close one night to see if I could transfer my RX to them as they had some in stock. I explained to the guy I needed it the next afternoon. He said sure, he would work on it right then so it would be ready for me the next day. So as the next day went I noticed I didn't get a notification that my RX was filled. Not a good sign from any pharmacy. So at about 3pm I called them and I could tell they were busy as there were 2 calls in front of me. When she answered she seemed immediately short with me. I asked if my RX was done. She said she didn't show it transferred and it can take 24-48 hrs. She was getting snippy with me. I told her that the guy the night before said he was going to do it right then. I told her I need that medication today. Then she tells me I had to talk to the pharmacist but didn't know when she would be available and they would call me. I am like "will I get a call today"? tomorrow??? She is like I don't know, whenever she calls you. I was getting very annoyed with her "no give a shit" attitude. So asked her do I wait for you guys to get it transferred if you even transfer it today or do I go get the 4 pills from my other pharmacy that they had left. She was far from helpful and she knew I wasn't happy because she had no answers for me. I was trying to not go home and hang around til I got my meds. So I call my other pharmacy and explained the Walgreen situation. She said sure, come get the 4 pills, that will give you time to get it figured out. So as I go to get them, she calls me back. She said just after we hung up her computer showed it being transferred right then. I'm like ok, cool. So I called Walgreens and got a guy. I said my RX was to be ready this afternoon, what time will it be ready? He is like give us 45 mins. I'm like ok fine. Then 20 minutes later Walgreens calls again. Some girl, telling me the order will be ready in 20 minutes. At this point I was having a bad day because of them and having to hang around when I need to go home and lay down. I didn't need to be running all over town, talking on the phone trying to figure out how to get my meds, all the back and forth. So I am like ok, the crap is over, right? Nope - I have a GoodRX card and my medications should have been $10 cash instead of $16. Well I didn't know you had to print off a specific one for that medication. I said what good is this RX card then? I got $0 off it. I was just so over it all and pd the extra. The girl that gave me my medication didn't give a crap either. Her day must have been just as crappy. Only she's getting paid to help and be nice to people. I used to use Walgreens long time ago when my insurance was different and really liked them. Boy this experience just aggravated me. So I am glad my insurance doesn't require me to go here anymore. I am just here because they are cheaper for my 1 cash pay med. I'll know to bring the GoodRX coupon next time. You would think a helpful pharmacist assist would be able to tell you that.
