  • The elevated terrace at the Grotto bar is an excellent spot for Italian food, beer, a glass of wine or to nurse your favorite cocktail. I perch myself at one of the pub tables and watch the people traverse through the hotel/casino/pool area. The GN pool is right across the way for more people watching..such a prime scene! ..And now for the good.. It's delicious.. I call up the Margherita pizza. Fresh basil, mozzarella, and delicious roma tomatoes. It's the best Margherita pizza in the business.. enough for two hungry people ready to conquer the Vegas scene. For appetizers, you can never go wrong with the crispy calamari..so darn good. The bartenders and servers are always helpful and friendly, even when the place is packed! Good Italian dishes and a prime viewing spot. Give Grotto a shot.. I'm never disappointed here. I will return on my next stay at the Nugget.
