  • My husband and I had applied for a mortgage with at least 4 other mortgage companies. We have both have unique work situations including a recent switch to independent contractor, seasonal work, and less than 2 years work history in the USA. We had been told time and time again we had to wait another year. I was somewhat skeptical walking into Michael Decarlo's office, but believe it or not I walked out an hour later with a pre-approval letter for more than we anticipated. Throughout the purchase process, Mike was always available either via email, text, or cell. If we had any questions (and we had many), Mike would immediately call or email us with answers. In addition, we were able to do all the preliminary paperwork via email, which was very convenient for our crazy schedules. We closed on our new property in less than 30 days and ended up with a phenomenal rate on our mortgage. We are extremely grateful to Mike and the team at JFK for helping us purchase our home.
