  • My experience here isn't any better then the others, unfortunately. My wife and I were looking at places on this street and saw that this apartment complex looked clean and well kept, did a tour and liked that it was quiet, signed a lease. So they show us to our "new" apartment and what do we see? A wonderful view of the freeway fencing, a view of the water pipe in our bedroom window, and the place wreaked of curry! Yes, curry! It smelled as bad, if not worse than an Indian restaurant. We tried to ignore it and started putting our things up, when as the sun was setting, the light hit the door just right, and I saw a marking on the door. It was a swastika, yes a swastika carved into the door right below the peep hole! The apartment management was contrite and offered us a better location and a garage for the same price which was nice (most likely to keep from getting a bad review). So, bike often and there is a metal stairwell that leads up to the apartment. I double lock my bike to this rail and one morning the entire thing was gone. I called the front to let them know and they said they were sorry for the loss, but said that they have had no reported thefts on this property since they were working here. That doesn't mean it hasn't ever happened. But again it was mostly my fault for being so trusting and thinking that the neighborhood was safe enough to leave my bike outside. We also had an altercation with a drunk neighbor who accosted me in the parking lot as I was going to work. There was loud music coming from their apartment and we were trying to record it so we could tell management the next day. Well, apparently they saw us and this drunk friend starts interrogating me. I told him about the music and started to leave and then he violently hit my window with his fist. Called the cops (should have done it prior to the incident). Long story short I do like the location because it's near everything and it is in a safe neighborhood (aside from the bike theft and loutish neighbor), but my experience with the management has been poor to say the least. Oh by the way, they didn't even replace the door that had the swastika on it, they just painted over it and some other poor sap moved in. I just implore you to take these reviews seriously. I am not making any of this up and I hope you find a better place.
