  • I'm really torn writing this review. I love the service at Rolf's and the fact that I can easily make appointments just by calling the very helpful and courteous receptionists at the front desk. I've had highlights done as well as blow-outs, etc. and the results are very good. The stylists take their time, explain everything, and are honest if they think what I want will not come out good or will damage my hair. Also, I've never had to wait for my appointment longer than five minutes. Huge plus compared to salons that make you wait 30 minutes or more past your appointment time. The salon itself looks very chic and modern in a rather industrial, plate-glassy way. It's not as plush and comfortable as other salons I've frequented. The sink area, especially, is cramped and uncomfortable and one is forced to watch an endless loop of Rolf fashion shows on the screens above. When you are sitting at the sinks for over ten minutes, that gets old fast. The prices here seem very high. I've gotten the same results at other salons for almost half what Rolf's charges. That is my main beef and why I've only assigned three stars. In order to remain competitive, prices need to come closer to what other salons of this calibre are charging in Chandler and Ahwatukee.
