  • I have been a customer of Guitar Center since the 70's in LA and have spent thousands and thousands $$ through the years! and I recently been getting emails from GC offering a very fair deal on trading in equipment for new equipment. So I called 2 nights ago to enquire some info and when talking to the person in the drum shop he gave me an idea of what the trade in $ would be so I decided to bring in some high quality trades. A DW 9000 Hi Hat Stand -Pearl piccolo snare and a Great Condition vintage Zildjian 20" Jazz Ride -The stand and snare drum are in excellent top condition close to new-I drove over 25 miles to the W. Charleston location and the clerk was ok but the trade in amount was unfair and they didn't want the vintage cymbal. What business is this store in? Yes it is their prerogative to do business any way they want and it is mine to take my $$ somewhere else- I am not angry just disappointed !!!!!!!!!!
