So we went to Mindful Brewing last night for dinner for our first visit. The parking lot was small and we had to do a few laps around before we found a spot. Good thing because we were going to leave after another lap or two. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and taken to an open table.
They have a list of about 20-30 beers on tap. If there is nothing in tap that you like, then don't fear because they have about 10 coolers with literally hundreds of bottled beers to choose from. Ridiculous selection!! The menu is small, nice, and affordable. My wife had the salmon blt. She said it was fine but nothing to rave about. I had the sunny side burger. It wasn't bad, but I didn't care for it. The lettuce and tomato and bottom bun were very soggy, so I just took the lettuce and tomato off the burger.
I tried a kounterweizen and didn't really care for it, a little too hoppy for me. We also got samplers of the peanut butter porter (no!), the juicy watermelon (didn't have any, wife drank it all!), and the farmhouse summer ale (it was ok).
Overall the experience was just ok. The wait staff was attentive and did a fine job. The food was ok but nothing special to us. Got to give it three stars.
