| - My wife and I were appalled at the behavior of one of the flight attendants on our flight from Las Vegas to Orange County on Sunday, April 29, 2018. The flight attendant's name was Dolores, and the entire plane ride got to witness this woman's atrocious behavior. This was in direct contrast to the other flight attendant, Pearl, who was professional, respectful, and conscientious.
When my wife and I entered the plane, our attention was immediately brought to the flight attendant, Dolores, who was negatively gossiping about various women who were boarding. We overheard her say to a male passenger sitting up front, "That chick shouldn't be wearing that with her fat ass," and then she giggled. Then she said about another woman, "Wow, too much Botox!" and then "That lady got hit with the Fugly stick" about another. The man she was talking to was laughing loudly at her comments and egging her on...probably thought he was going to get laid.
We sat a few aisles back and unfortunately had to observe Dolores' bizarre behavior for the rest of the flight. My wife remarked that Dolores seemed to be a woman hater and jealous of all the pretty ones (mind you, Dolores was highly unattractive and overweight), which became quite apparent. When a beautiful blonde boarded, we watched as Dolores glared at her and then whispered something to one of the other flight attendants. We thought we were witnessing a middle school playground instead of an adult professional woman at her job. My wife said, "That flight attendant has got a screw loose. I predict she's going to do something to that blonde. She can't stop glaring at her." Sure enough, as the plane was coasting down the runway to take off, suddenly Dolores ran down the aisle shouting. She made a huge commotion at the blonde's seat. The blonde was apparently asleep. Not passed out...ASLEEP! She woke up groggily and muttered something, and then Dolores ran to the front and demanded that the plane turn around. The plane had to go back to the boarding gate, all because Dolores was having an insane jealousy attack. After Dolores made a huge commotion for nothing, the beautiful blonde got up from her seat, grabbed her luggage, and left the plane. She was 100% coherent, not in the least intoxicated, walking perfectly fine, and understandably confused and upset. The people next to her said she was completely sober, just a deep sleeper. Everyone on the plane was confused, and people could be heard remarking that this was ridiculous. Dolores grinned from ear-to-ear about her power trip, and seemed satisfied that we all had to wait another hour before taking off again. Because of her middle school shenanigans, we all arrived an hour later than planned, which delayed our plans. I think this flight attendant, Dolores, needs her mental health checked. Her behavior went deeper than pettiness and immaturity. She shouldn't be representing Southwest Airline or working with the public, especially if they're female. Maybe she should work for an all-male airline.
