| - Here is the bottom line, if you like your pasta cooked Al Dente, then you will probably like the food. But if you don't like pasta cooked Al Dente, then your out of luck, because they will not cook it any other way. I am not fond of Al Dente, or not being able to have my food cooked the way I want it, so 3 stars is the best I can rate this restaurant. I had the rigatoni in Sunday Gravy (sauce) with pork, and the gravy is very good. I also ordered a side of meatballs (which they give you one large meatball for $12). It was OK, but I have had a lot better and it was certainly not worth the money. The bread served with the meal is authentic delicious Italian bread, served with sides of oil, hot pepper sauce, and grated cheese (although I wish they also included butter as a choice as well). The decor is very sleek and ultra modern, and although it hardly fits the theme of an Italian resturuant, it is a nice looking place. The prices are high for an italian resturuant, but when you take into consideration your eating at a celebrity chef's restaurant, right on the strip, the prices are fairly reasonable. There are certainly many better Italian restaurants in Vegas, but if your staying at the Paris, and don't feel like leaving the hotel, you can get a decent meal here (as long as you like Al Dente pasta!).
