  • For me, mattress shopping is in the same category as car shopping; I brace myself to deal with some shyster looking to make a buck at my expense, and I end up with less than what I bargained for. NOT the case at the Mattress Firm at Rea Rd. and Tom Short Rd. We went early (right when they opened), and worked with Robert, who turned out to be very knowledgable, honest, and extremely helpful. After evaluating four beds in the firmness category we wanted to be in, we narrowed it down to two beds pretty quickly. Robert helped us make a well-informed decision, answered our questions, and even gave us a smoking deal on the most amazing aromatherapeutic pillows that are the BEST EVER. The best part - they delivered our bed THE SAME DAY (today) by 5pm. I am amazed. As if that wasn't enough, I realized around 2:00pm that I didn't have the parts needed for my bed frame, so I called Robert back, and he threw in a king bed frame at NO CHARGE. Delivery: NO CHARGE. Are you kidding me?! My decision to come here was based on a friend's great experience at their South Blvd. store.. It seems like Mattress Firm has their act together from the top down, and that culture is present at all the stores. No need to worry about going to a certain location because that's where "the good guy" works. I would go back to Robert in a heartbeat, and I will, if I need another bed.
