DON'T SELL YOUR JEWELRY HERE! Thank goodness I was educated about my jewelry before walking into this store in attempt to sell it. Gold was trading at a higher than normal price that day so I finally decided to sell what I had. I visited three different jewelry stores prior to making a trip to ED Marshalls and knew I had 15g worth of platinum and 5g worth of white gold to sell. The male associate was pleasant in the beginning but then insisted my platinum wasn't platinum, but 18k white gold, which turned into a heated discussion ending in him eating his words when I pointed out the platinum stamp on the item. Then he "weighed" it at 12g when I had been told three other times that day that it weighed 15g. He offered me a low ball amount of $600 for everything when I had been offered $680 for just the platinum earlier that day. He tried to cheat me out of money at every turn. Again, I'm so happy I had some basic knowledge about my items or I would have been scammed by these cheapskates.
