| - This is the only vet I will go to!! I have been taking my pets here for many, many years. The establishment is very clean inside and out and the staff is very caring and friendly. Animal Medical is located pretty far from me, I live 30 to 40 minutes away depending on traffic, but it is well worth the drive!! Their prices are a bit more than other vets, but I believe that you get what you pay for. I have also boarded my two dogs here and they were very well taken care of in all aspects. I see Dr. Pullen for matters regarding orthopedic issues and major surgeries. He is wonderful, very knowledgeable, caring and goes the extra mile to care for your pets. For routine and minor concerns I always go to Dr. Ariano. She is wonderful as well!! When diagnosing they do recommend different tests/procedures and blood work to cover all basis. For some, it may seem excessive, but its only for the benefit of your pet and to make sure they can pinpoint what is going on. I have been to other vets before in the past and some don't want to run any tests, only guess at what the problem may be. Because of that my dog was misdiagnosed and treated for parasites and was told if she gets worse to bring her back!!! I did not agree with that, so when I took her to Animal Medical I found out she actually had valley fever, which left untreated could cause death!!!
When the doctors at Animal Medical recommend certain procedures/treatments, it doesn't mean that you have to agree to have them done if the cost is too much for you. They offer you a written estimate and you must sign it first before they proceed with any care. I myself have had to have them rework the estimate due to financial difficulties and they happily accommodated! They also accept Care Credit to help pay for your pets needs!!
I firmly believe in what they have recommended and/or done for my furry family members! I will continue to take my pets here and recommend them to everyone!!
