The Horseshoe has been around forever. It's a historical joint to see a live show in. All the people in the music industry who didn't grow up with computers and remember the glory days like this spot. But, let's face it, the sound system is junk, the place needs a makeover and let's be honest, once those dinosaurs holing on to the nostalgia are gone, The Shoe is sure to follow. It's set up like a tavern (hence the name) in the front and kind of a venue in the back. It's not the kind of place I would frequent unless I was catching a show, but there are dedicated people and it is somewhat of a landmark on Queen. This might be a "decide for yourself" review, it really does depend.
