  • As a business owner myself in this less than nice city (in fact the city is about as bad as any gets on many levels) I am BEYOND impressed. I had an appointment with Rowena Friday 1 June 2018 and was so very excited, nobody has ever been able to get rid of some issues I have from running my clinic and tirelessly writing and taking care of two children 5 years old and 2 years old as well as 5 rescue dogs and a lizard we rescued from our bathtub (yes I am insane), the thought that someone may mitigate the pain from the trigger points I myself know I have, was exciting. As asked I showered and put no lotions on my skin and was all dressed and ready to go as soon as I could and two hours before I was scheduled I get a PHONE CALL, it was Rowena, cancelling my appointment. Of course, you will think this should be an awful review-but wait-SHE WAS IN LABOUR. I was beyond impressed, it was something no business owner would do (I would) but in labour she called me to cancel. This is customer service that you have to love. This, to me, shows dedication to customer service and qualities uncommon in Las Vegas. I am a fan and I have never been treated, but as I do with my clinic, Rowena truly cares about her clients and goes the extra mile. To the reviewer who posted a one star review because she did not jump to call you-may I just tell you as a human being and business owner myself how demanding and how completely lacking in etiquette and understanding you are? Yelp is very demanding and sadly we live in an age where anyone can go online and slander us; not least of all on Yelp. Even worse, and I ceased paying them because of this, they do not care if a review is about a phone call or answering service, they do not filter reviews from people who are NOT clients or patients of a business. The damage you do from your 1 star review for people like Rowena and myself who work tirelessly to keep everyone happy and often have to field real issues daily is unimaginable. Do you know that whether it is 3 in the morning or midnight I need to personally reply to any and all Yelpers, even if the question is mundane and leads nowhere but is just price hunting or asks something absurd? (yes people do contact us via Yelp to ask questions), not answering becomes a "demotion" to "responds in X hours or days". To maintain a lightening response rating it does not matter if you are out eating with your family, you are sleeping, you are bathing your kids or even on a flight or holiday, we are literally slaves to social media. If you do not use services DO NOT POST A REVIEW. You cannot review a service based on someone not calling you back or a phone interaction. I myself have a 24 hour 7 day a week answering service and have got reviewers who, like you, give us a star and blame the answering service, I reply and still the posters stand by the review. It is truly rude and someone who has no clue how demanding it is to be a business owner, especially in Las Vegas.
