  • I would say that this would have to be my least favourite dog park. First off, I dislike the fact that they switched the park from grass to pebbles. I find my dog, and many other dogs having a difficult time attempting to run around the park due to the pebbles. I would assume it would be hard on their paws when it's hard for even me to walk, let alone run. The fences are also very low, so I would assume it's easy for the bigger dogs to just jump over. Fair game though, there is a sign near the gates that the park is for small dogs only. Second, the people who come to this dog park are either disrespectful or ignorant. They come to a dog park but blockade themselves off with their dog so that other dogs can't play with theirs - why bring them to a dog park then? Go play in your backyard or take your dog for a walk instead. One time my dog was playing with this wastemanz dog and he kept telling my dog to back off just cuz he was play-biting. Like bish that's normal dog behaviour!!! Not to mention, these owners don't know how to pick up after their dogs? I've witnessed many times at this park where owners do not pick up their dogs poop. As a result, I find myself dodging poop most of the time when I'm here. Other than the surrounding scenery of the dog park (huge fields & a trail to walk through) there's not much else that is great around here. Parking is also easily accessible as the park is right beside a community centre. Of course, everything I mentioned might not always be true - but I'm just speaking from my experience of coming here a few times. Anyways, I'm just gonna attach a photo of my dog at this park cuz he's always a happy little fella wherever he goes.
