  • Was in the neighborhood for a vet appointment, so we stopped in to try the cake. I had seen the really beautifully adorned cakes on instagram, and with flavors like 'blueberry rose with pistachio buttercream' how could one not be, at the very least, super curious!? This place is super cute and cozy, and would be great if you're looking to snuggle up to a book either inside or in the adorable garden area out back. Also, the cake did not disappoint! It was very dense, but also quite moist, and not overly sweet or gluttonous. My partner said they reminded her of a cake donut, but I suppose I enjoy cake donuts more than she does ;). I also had the hibiscus passion fruit iced tea, which was perfect. I hardly ever eat sweets, but this place makes for a perfect departure from the regular. Most of the time I will decline sweets because I feel that they aren't "worth the calories" (I'm more of a savory girl), but this place is definitely worth any and all calories. And while I didn't try them today, they had plenty of really good looking vegan options! Definitely worth a stop :)
