| - I visited Mel for the first time a few years ago when she was at another salon on a recommendation from a good friend. My hair was in desperate need of some TLC, and I went in looking like a bum, after taking a last minute appointment one morning after a crazy night out. She was bubbly, sweet, offered me coffee (I needed it), and worked wonders on my hair. I gave her a hug after - I don't think I'd ever received a better haircut (or looked so good with a hangover!). I followed her to another salon a couple years ago, and now she owns her OWN with Jen (also wonderful!). These ladies are a dynamic duo, let me tell you. Their salon also offers massage and nail services, and while I haven't taken advantage of them yet, it's great to have it all in one place.
They also use Enjoy products at the salon. I had never heard of this brand before, so when they opened I looked it up online. Every product I could find had raaaave reviews. Of course, it's one thing to read and another to actually try. But, my bf won one of their products at the salon's opening in November, and I sneak some of it myself every now and then. It smells incredible, and I'm looking forward to trying their shampoo and conditioner soon.
I have recommended Mel (and now, Therapy Hair Salon and Spa) to every friend or family member who has ever asked for a hair salon recommendation. My boyfriend now goes there, my sister goes there...GO!!! You won't regret it.
