  • I admit I am a regular for happy hour at the Z'Tejas at Bethany Home. It is a bit out of the way if I'm going right after work (which I usually am) but well worth the detour. First is the ambience of the place. I love the open floor plan with the glass walls that open up during nice weather. There are automatic shades that come down when the sun is shining, but once the sun starts to set and the weather starts to cool, there is nothing better! The bar is U shaped which allows for easy conversation with others at the bar. I always meet a friendly face to talk with and pass the time. Next is the service at the bar - wonderful! Josh, JD, Chris, Amy, Dave and David are a joy. Very attentive and friendly. Beverages - the 6th Street Margaritas are a must! The fan favorite is the Chambord margarita. YUM! The bar has a four screen flat TV for watching your favorite sporting event. If they are not showing what you want, just ask.
