  • Dark, dingy parking garage. I mean the low lighting in here was ridiculous, I was freaked out until I made it through the deserted hall, up the clangy elevator, to the small lobby. Obviously the first impression was bad. The girl that checked me in was nice but it may have been for the young gentleman flirting with her. The living room was 20x30 with only one small end table and a love seat. It looked completely out of proportion. Such a large space made it easy to spot the imperfections, dirty walls, stained carpet, smudged mirrors. The bedroom was small. About 1 foot in between the bed and each wall. The bed was super uncomfortable and I only got about 3 hours of sleep. The bathroom - The towels were fluffy! But I couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower. I had to call the front desk to have them explain it to me. Me - "Good Morning, I have stupid question." Front Desk "Let me guess, how do you turn on the shower? Everybody asks!" You would think they would resolve this issue. Managers Reception - free beer and wine - nice outdoor patio to relax on! Breakfast - Big selection but nothing delicious, just average breakfast food. I will definitely try another hotel next time I'm in town - Crowne Plaza or Renaissance I imagine. I'm completely surprised by the upkeep of this Embassy.
