Owner or manager or whoever stepped out and left a sign on the door saying to call number and they'll come right back. When we called, he asked us multiple snobby questions and basically avoided coming back to open the door for us. Thanks but no thanks. I understand your rugs are special 'handmade' stuff and you should understand how to treat a customer. What a jerk.
Professionalism and courtesy is just a suggestion for them. I don't always route for big chains but there's a reason why they're successful-- consistency and customer service. If this were IKEA I would be writing this message to the corporate offices but since this is a small business, I just leave it here as a warning for others.
