  • 3.5 stars for the food 4 stars for the ambiance and service I just couldn't bring myself to rate it a 4 star. Well, I took the BF to LV for his birthday and took him to eat here on 8/25 bcz of all the raving reviews! The atmosphere of this place is great, they have an intimate side and a social gathering side! A little bit more of a relaxed feeling than Morton's or Ruth Chris. Not too uppity and not too business like. The negatives: -Lamb chops. It didn't melt in my mouth compared to Ruth Chris. Not that great of a seasoning, just salt and pepper. I should not be able to have an after taste of salt (table salt) on my tongue for hours after dinner. -Sauteed mushrooms. OMG WTF!!! When the hostess brought that next to me I said BUTTON MUSHROOMS with a snotty attitude and a look!! But I calmed down and tried the mushrooms anyway. Let me tell you how disappointing this is! For a pricey restaurant to serve their guests BUTTON MUSHROOMS that is just a BIG NO NO!! Button mushrooms are not gourmet and cannot carry a gourmet flavor. Let's just say McCormick and Schmidt's sauteed mushrooms is what I was expecting! On top of that the mushrooms weren't even sliced, they were served whole. The flavor was there, but the BUTTON MUSHROOMS just ruined the flavor. -The BF's steak tenderloin was good, but not great. Again too much salt. It tastes like table salt! It may just be me. But again having an after taste of salt in your mouth for hours after dinner and even with dessert not impressed. The positives: -Great service. -Great atmosphere. -Delicious crab cake, mac n cheese, and asparagus! Previous yelpers were right on those recommendations! -Great concept on having women hostess serve you the sides. Each hostess has a side and serves it to each guest. (although I would have appreciated the girls looking cuter and dressed sexier than that evening, I like pretty people, plus it's Vegas a city to impress) -The restroom: I've never been to a restaurant where there was a bathroom attendant before. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant only if they had a pre-fixed menu. Or if you are having an important business transaction.
