| - I've been shopping at Evymama for almost a year now. It is a beautiful, warm, welcoming boutique on Jane St. (There is a new location at Danforth/Broadview, I've been once, and it was great!) The Evymama staff is always incredibly helpful and will welcome you into the store with a smile and a warm greeting. They always take a moment to show you the layout of the store, point out the sale items, and what's new. They know their inventory really well - ask for what you're looking for, they may have the goodies you want, just not out on the floor yet. I've always been offered a cup of water or tea, there are comfortable chairs to sit and nurse your baby, and you are welcome to relax as long as you need to.
They have a really beautiful selection of both nursing and maternity wear. One of my favourite purchases was my Paige Premium jeans. I love designer denim, and Evymama has it! They have a great selection of staple items (tanks and leggings are my absolute must-have). On the maternity side, Jules et Jim is a fabulous line with some cutting edge pieces resembling the ones you often see in the window at Club Monaco. Noppies has some beautiful classic casuals that fit beautifully and are so comfortable! Be sure to check out some of the Boob and June and Dane pieces on the nursing side - both fit beautifully over a belly and you get a lot of wear out of them when you're nursing! The Boob Before and After top is ruched and really defines the waist! They have it in a dress form that looks fabulous over a pair of leggings (I can hardly wait for boot season to add to the look). The material of the June and Dane pieces is incredibly soft. I have never worn a top that was so soft and comfortable - and CUTE!!
At Evymama they prove that nursing bras are not what they used to be. The bras don't even look like nursing bras, and are more beautiful than any bra I owned pre-chidlren. The prices are very reasonable too! The Cake line is adorable! I can't leave the store without one (and of course the matching panties, too cute to pass up).
They have an amazing selection of baby carriers, everything from the Pikkolo, the Ergo, BabyHawks (the patterns are outstanding), ring slings and Moby wraps. If you aren't sure, they will demo them for you (over and over until you are fully comfortable). And you can bring your baby and try them out in the demos. It's so helpful to leave knowing you bought a carrier you love and you feel comfortable using. And if you have any other questions, you can go back, or give them a call.
I would definitely recommend Evymama as your first (and most likely only) stop when looking for maternity and nursing wear as well as carriers and accessories.
You can also shop online and shipping is about $8 (a TTC ride and a tea).
