| - This is a very old review and long overdue. Hopefully things have changed.
Not only did I get a terrible haircut with grossly uneven sides, etc, but I explicitly asked for a "men's" haircut. The same tools were used, the same style of cut was given, but they charged the "women's" rate.
In many places in North America, such as NYC, this is illegal. Not only because it's overcharging, but because it's discriminatory on the basis of gender. Simply because they thought I looked like a woman, regardless of my gender identity or the service performed, I was charged more.
Human rights council of Ontario would have pursued this, FYI Grateful Head. Hopefully you've chosen a more progressive pricing structure, not to mention more worthwhile stylists.
