I'm not normally a difficult customer; I won't complain unless I'm severely inconvenienced. I hate to say it, but I considered myself a difficult customer on this trip. I had nothing planned and not a clue where things were (even having been to Toronto before). I must've been at the concierge's desk everyday asking for directions and reservations. Luckily the staff was patient and even delivered endless confirmations to our room. Reserve this, cancel it, reserve that, confirm that, directions to there. Thanks for the patience.
The hotel is well located near the convention center and relatively close to the financial district. The rooms are typical Ritz Carlton, nicely appointed, modern, yet classy. Bathroom floors are heated and there is plenty of space for a separated toilet, shower, and a spacious tub.
5 stars. I'll take an urban high rise hotel over a cozy bed and breakfast any day. We really liked our week long stay here and would definitely stay if we ever returned to Toronto.
