Big pieces and a shoyu like flavor. That's what I generally see when I think of for a more legitimate island poke. Hawaiian Style Poke generally emulates it pretty well.
*Spicy Ahi Poke Bowl - Decently priced, you'll get a nice portion with rice. The options of flavors for poke seems much more than you're average bear, but this is what I was told is one of the popular ones. It did not disappoint.
**Atmosphere - when you come in, you don't realize it's not fit to sit in and eat. It's more market style with a small store of apparel and trinkets relative to hawaii and a distant stretch to hawaii. This place doesn't look maintained well. The glass enclosure where the poke should be displayed is not showing, which is wierd.
Overall the poke here is good, but this place is more of get in, get out and get on with your life. Thank you for the meal.
