  • I was visiting from out of town, and a friend suggested the newly opened Spirit House for drinks and small bites. Great drinks, and a great food selection (duck poutine, duck nachos....yes, I love duck). :) The duck poutine was to DIE FOR! Plus the ambience itself was awesome...unpretentious yet classy...and even though we were a larger group (8 ppl) coming in without a reservation on a Saturday night, they did everything they could to accommodate! When they had to ask a couple to squeeze down a bit so our party could fit into the booth beside them, they gave the couple free drinks! :) The A-board outside the door did not lie...this is totally somewhere AWESOME, and I was very sad to leave. But I will be back!
