| - Came here for the first time on a Sunday with my friend who has been coming here for the past few years. We had a small brunch and decided to come for a pedicure. This was my first pedicure experience so bare with me. Lol
Located in the same plaza as Doh KBBQ, Serenade, Smiths, it sits in the same row of stores as Smith's, just north of it before the UPS store.
Like a typical nail salon, they are lined with lots of manicure desks on the right, and a line of massage chairs with feet soak tub to the left.
After a short wait of a minute or two, looking at the wall of nail polish colors, they had two chairs prepared with a warm feet bath ready for us. These chairs are really high tech ! imagine the cost of a normal massage chair then add it being elevated higher than normal, and a tub for soaking feet that is plumbed for drainage and hot/cold water to fill. FANCY ! Lol ! Ssshh its my first time... this probably exists in every salon huh?
They have a few different pedicure packages but I'm only going to name the two we had done.

"Classic Express Pedicure" - $25
Includes reshaping of nails, cleaning cuticles, gentle exfoliation of feet and legs w/ sugar rub w/ optional choice of solid polish
"Deluxe Essential Pedicure" - $35
Includes "Classic Express Pedicure" w/ callus treatment, minty mask process, hot towel wrap, and hot basalt stone relief massage. Optional choice of solid polish.
Additional $5 to either "package" for French tip nails, otherwise, regularly $17 for French tip without pedicure.

I had chosen the classic, as it was my first time, and I wasn't sure how it was going to be like. My friend had picked the deluxe, as this was her typical package she gets regularly.
Classic takes about 30 minutes whereas the Deluxe probably takes 45 minutes.
After a quick soak in the warm feet soak, they start working on each of your feet. I was actually mildly embarrassed because I had not trimmed my nails in a while and some were mildly outgrown. Apparently that's a normal thing to do if you are expecting to get a pedicure since they will trim and reshape the nails. The tools they use were super sharp and I feel like they had no difficulty in trimming, compared to doing it myself. Pain and worry free ! Besides the exfoliating part which was a bit ticklish (...hehe...), the entire procedure was actually pretty relaxing. I don't have much calluses on the bottom of my feet but I've always had an issue with dryness to the heel of my feet because I wear flip-flops so often. Also, I have some weird thicker/harder parts to the top on my toes, over the joints. These were all taken care of and removed. All in all, during this entire procedure, it was pretty relaxing as I was watching the Vegas Knights cream the Winnipeg Jets on the small TV on the back far wall.
I've always enjoyed having my feet nice and smooth but that's always because of a few days on a beach, getting a natural exfoliation and scrub... Haha! The final foot scrub was a sugar-based scrub apparently that had a really nice fragrance
Feet is nice and smooth. Trimmed and made probably the nicest its ever been in my entire life... LOL
Classic is not a bad package to try out, if you are a bit skeptical about having a pedicure done. Though, I would probably recommend getting the Deluxe, as much more is included for a little more in cost. I opt'ed out of the solid nail polish, which was included, but my friend opt'ed to get French tips on hers, for an additional $5. Small tip to the person who works on you and everyone is happy after you pay for everything.
My lady didn't speak English that well but still communicated often. The younger girl who worked on my friend was super friendly and answered any question she or I had. Apparently its not a common thing to have a fluent English speaker.
As I was waiting for my friend to finish, I saw the cleaning lady scrub down each tub and wipe down each chair after use. The tools used for the pedicure seems to be sterilized and stored in these packets where you have to open up prior to usage, similar to what you see at the dentist office or what I'm familiar with in the ER. I'd say they are pretty clean and have no worries in terms of cleanliness of this place.
Highly recommended place for anyone who is looking for a place to get a mani/pedi for the first time or just a new place to go to.
