| - I have been a member of this club for about 5 years. I am an avid racquetball player and it is nice to have a club still open in the area. Sadly, most of the racquetball courts in the Cleveland area have closed.
The courts here, 3 total, are decent. The floors need to be refinished, but they are still in good shape. Walls and lighting are in good shape as well.
I also work out from time to time. The cardio section has plenty of treadmills with their own TV's and elliptical machines with TV's overhead. This area also includes a good set of Nautilus equipment and is surrounded by a 1/16th mile track.
The free weights room is good, but small. It has all the basics - press, incline and decline, squat, leg press, sit up decline, and a machine for rows, tri pull downs, lat extensions, etc.. There is also a good set of dumbbells.
Tennis, however, is the focus of this club. There are 10 courts I believe. They are all very well taken care of and the club house is nicely stocked. Teams from our club constantly win state and national competitions and, even though I am not a tennis player, word on the street is that the pro's are excellent.
The amenities are decent. Then mens locker room is newly renovated. Also, if you pay for your entire year up front, you get a spot in executive locker room upstairs. Not really worth it though in my opinion.
The men's locker room has a small sitting space with a TV, a good size shower room, steam room, and sauna. It is all very well taken care of and nicely furnished.
Tip: wait to join when they are waiving the initiation fee.
