  • I have never been to Avery's before, and I decided to pop in today for a cup of coffee. It's so interesting to me that they roast their own beans! I tried the Brazilian Oberon jade brew over ice, but the owner Linda also offered me a sample of their cold brew because I told her that I work at Starbucks. That was very sweet; I appreciated that she considered me a "coffee person" and wanted to share her passion with me. The cold brew is delicious! Smooth with almost no acidity- nutty and citrusy at the same time. She switched out my Brazilian for the cold brew and I left happy. Avery is the neighborhood coffee shop that I wish Starbucks still was. Thank you for your warm customer service!
