  • I need to be very clear. This one star is not for Hertz in general, it is for this particular location. I have never used Hertz before this and I may not again. After an auto accident my wife picked up a rental from here. All seemed good until we brought the car back for a drop off. When we got the car they told us insurance would pay for 20 days. When we dropped the car off they said insurance changed their minds without telling us and would only pay for 12 days. Seems strange that no one would tell us but whatever, mistakes are made. The reason for one star is because this place over charged us. They charged us for more days than we had the car. They admitted they did and would not refund us saying it was company policy to do so. I called corporate and they seemed to be almost as upset as we were, not understanding that retail locations reasoning for charging us extra days. Corporate promised us a refund of almost $75. We will wait the 5 business days to see if the refund actually comes through.
