WORST VIETNAMESE FOOD EVER!!!! I am having one of those moments when I wish that Yelp had a way of giving 0 stars.
My girlfriend (who is Vietnamese btw) and I went here for a late dinner a couple of weeks ago, and we were starving. We started off by ordering drinks and I got my usual Thai Tea; it was completely watered down. We split the spring rolls and the peanut sauce wasn't great, but that's the norm for most pho places in Arizona. I got the Pho tai bo vien and something was just off about it. I've had my fair share of pho, and this was not pho broth. It was so bad that any amount of adding hoisin sauce or sriracha were not going to fix it. I had to pay $11 for this...My girlfriend ordered the V1 Bun Saigon - Tom Nuong, thit nuong va cha gio. She said that the fish sauce was just fish sauce, and that you normally would have something with it to add flavor. One would think that since the owners are Vietnamese that they would actually know what Vietnamese food would taste like.
Contrary to other reviews, the service that we had was pretty good that night, after the 10 minutes of waiting to even be acknowledged. That was the one redeeming quality of the restaurant. The prices were way too high for the terrible quality of the food. I do not know how in the world they were able to be considered 4 stars. We may have been better off staying hungry that night.
