| - i went to visit my parents in scottsdale at the end of january and was looking into yoga studios around their house. i really wanted to do something active while i was there. i found a groupon for floo-id yoga, bought it and went to class that afternoon. for some reason, there was a glitch with the groupon and it wasn't able to be used until a few days later. the staff there was ridiculously accommodating and nice. i really told them not to worry and that i'd pay for the drop in and use that groupon the following week. beth, who i believe owns the studio, told me not to worry about it, she would work it out with groupon and told me to come back free of charge the following week, regardless as to what outcome with groupon was. just customer service alone was outstanding and i'd recommend the studio even based on that.
as for the yoga, i've never taken a hot yoga class, but both classes i attended were very comfortable in terms of the instructors (i had different instructors on 2 different classes). both gave instructions as to what to do if a student feels lightheaded, etc., and also just made me feel very comfortable in class. i do tend to feel insecure, due to my clumsiness and lack of coordination, but i felt amazing after the class.
the studio was clean, friendly and knowledgeable and provided an amazing hot yoga experience. whenever i go back to visit my family, i will definitely continue to take classes at floo-id, regardless as to if there's a groupon or not.
