This review pertains specifically to the flooring department, although the experience was so bad I will never use any RC Willey department for any purpose. When I first went to the store I selected a laminate flooring to match my planned decorating scheme. I was told that it would take over a month to have the flooring delivered, and that if I wanted a different floor one was available for delivery two weeks later. The new floor, amazingly, would cost almost three times as much per square foot. Since they had already measured, and the new turn around time was so quick, I decided to upgrade. Imagine my surprise when the delivery day came and I had not received a call.
When I called Tonya (our sales rep) she said the delivery date would be delayed weeks. I am still shocked they didn't call me to tell me about this delay, and instead waited for my call. I explained that our furniture was scheduled to arrive by then, adding the expense of furniture moving. And a truck full of inconvienence. Apparently not her worry.
I cannot describe how amazed I felt/feel about paying an additional 2000 for a promised convenience only to find out the upgraded cost was in vain. I feel fleeced, and misled for an upgraded commission.
I would like to say that the installers were very professional, and did a beautiful job. I just wish it had been for a good company.
